Involto

This installation consists of small sculptures created with apple peels and posed in different resting surfaces present in the exhibition space. The shapes are built rolling on itself the surface of the element, the peel which in this way goes to fill the internal missing part. The resulting form is vaguely spherical, remembering the original source, but the color, brightness and composition could suggests other: rosebuds, cocoons, organs, bundles,…

Installazione formata da piccole sculture create con bucce di mela e distruibuite nei vari ripiani presenti nello spazio espositivo. Le forme sono costruite aggrovigliando su se stessa la parte superficiale di un elemento che in questo modo va a riempire anche la parte interna mancante. La forma che risulta, vagamente sferica, ricorda la provenienza originaria, ma il colore, la lucentezza e la composizione ne suggerisce anche altre: boccioli di rose, bozzoli, organi, involucri,…
