Thypos

This installation recalls the world of symbols related to the earth and feminine elements and develops through a mutation transition from one form to another. The shapes placed on the floor, draw a bond of attraction with the earth, element of which they are composed, weaving a synchronic connection between past, present and future.
In the enigmatic looking for the meaning, they seem to suggest ‘periods’, ‘steps’, ‘traditions’, ‘superstitions’, and at the same time, they refering to the evocative power of the sign as value of expression beyond any representation.

L’installazione richiama il mondo dei simboli legati all’elemento terra e al femminile e si sviluppa attraverso un passaggio di mutazione da una forma all’altra. Le forme poste sul pavimento disegnano un legame di attrazione con l’elemento terra di cui sono composte, tessendo un accordo sincronico tra passato, presente e futuro. Nel gioco enigmatico del riconoscimento e del significato essi sembrano suggerire ‘periodi’, ‘fasi’, ‘tradizioni’, ‘superstizioni’, rinviando allo stesso tempo alla forza evocativa del segno come valore di espressione al di là di ogni rappresentazione.
